There is a big development now on how the National Testing Agency (NTA) will go about evaluating the exams. It has brought out the provisional answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. They are meant for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlanning) for Session 1 exams. They are also provided along with answer keys to the candidates.

Answer Key Availability:
Provisional answer keys will be hosted at the official site of JEE Main 2024 for candidates' reference.
The window of Objection for Answer Key is now live and will remain active till February 8, 11:00 pm.
Challenging of Answer Key:
In case the candidate needs to challenge any answer from the provisional key, they would have to follow the procedure as at Annexure 1 at official website.
Fee for challenging each question shall be ₹200, which is non-refundable.
The payment of fee for the challenged question can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking up to the stipulated last date.
Revised Final Answer Keys:
In case challenges are found to be correct, then the answer key will be revised accordingly by NTA.
After the challenges, the revised final answer keys will again be evaluated by experts, and the final revised answer keys will be considered for the preparation of the result.
Results will be prepared on the basis of these final revised answer keys.
Candidate Notification:
Individual information whether the challenged candidates have been rejected or accepted will not be communicated to the candidates.
The final keys are to be decided by the experts after considering all the objections.

The JEE Main – 2024 Session 1 exam was conducted across the country in a total of 544 centers and 291 cities from January 24th to February 1st, 2024.
The exam was also held in 21 cities situated outside the country.
