Sony Pictures will push ahead with its arbitration award against Zee Entertainment Enterprises, after a fresh setback in its high-profile merger spat. The judgment further fuels the legal battles linked to the collapsed $10 billion deal, with industry ties glued to the unfolding drama.

The story unfolds on January 22 when Sony, on the alleged non-fulfillment of closing conditions, terminated the merger agreement with Zee. Sony, at the same time, further initiates arbitration proceedings and seeks a whopping $90 million termination fee from Zee.
